A very handsome Eastern Rosella

Eastern Spinebill in the Eremophila - we now have a family calling our yard home

NAMARAG is a part of the Molonglo River series of parks and has a First Australians theme.

All serene on the surface, but there's a lot of paddling below.

One of the locals

Googong Dam

Tin Hut Picnic Area  at the southern end of Googong

Rakali among the reeds

Eastern Spinebill again

Crimson Rosellas

We were at the bridge when the second centre girder was lowered into place.  Note the frost!

Gently does it - lot of jiggling here

Tree full of Crested Pigeons

The cygnets of a few months ago have now grown,

Esme found an old basketball and had a great game with it

Went for a drive to Namdagi - Yankee Cap area - midday and ice was still on the puddles

These have thicker coats

Des bringing the car along.  I was hoping for a flame robin, but only saw a single Scarlet Robin

Last girder has been dropped into place.  The BIG crane has been dismantled and trucked off to its next job.
