Darwin Road Trip - Part 2 - Yulara to Darwin



Days 6 and 7 - Uluru

The next leg of our journey took us from Erldunda to Yulara (Uluru and Kata Tjula) before back onto the Stuart Highway heading north.

 On both days at Uluru, walking tracks were closed by 10.00 am because of the heat - topping 40 degrees C.

Day 8 - Uluru to Tennant Creek

Given the heat, we were on the road before sunup as we also had 900 odd kilometers to our next bed.

We stayed the night at Tennant Creek and, as it was so hot in the room we drove about 20 klm north to the Devils Pebbles - much smaller in size than the Devils Marbles. (No photo because it was very overgrown after the recent heavy rains).
