AUGUST 2021 - Lockdown and quiet.

August was a wet month and also lockdown for all ACT residents as a result of Covid19 Delta Strain getting into the ACT.

The Tawny Frogmouth pair were fluffed against the cold and wet.

The Wattles this year are spectacular - both dense and vibrant.

Crimson Rosella showing off its wing colours.

Pair of Wood Ducks flying towards the Creek.

Kookaburra looking for breakfast.

Local Swamp Wallaby - often seen if early enough.

Bare Aspen trunks in the National Arboretum.

Yours Truly on the day lockdown was announced, waiting in the queue to get out.

A Yellow-faced Honeyeater moving through Canberra, heading for the Brindabellas

A strange growth appearing along the walk

Female Satin Bowerbird - still trying to photograph the male.

King Parrot

Galahs in our yard.

Another strange growth!!

Two male Superb Fairy Wrens having a face-off.

And finally - himself on his nest.  It took a week of searching to find him.
