May 2017

Back again with May's offerings.

Starting out with a visit to the National Arboretum - I was looking for places to get some autumn colour with the drone.

With the loss of Molly, we were very unsettled.  I was not walking regularly (I hate walking without a dog), so I started looking for another Staffy pup.  Plenty of Blacks, whites and Blues available, but no reds.  I was lucky enough to find a four year old desexed female Staffy that needed to be re-homed.  It was in Caloundra so off we set. Canberra - Wellington -  Goondiwindi - Caloundra, where we had accommodation for four nights.

Back home, Pepper settled in happily.  Doggy door training took a day or so.  Meeting other dogs was a little cautious at first, but later, being surrounded by three Malamutes at the dog park didn't bother her.
